About us

In the early 1990s a small bookshop and Islamic Information Centre opened in Cricklewood. The centre was used to help promote a better understanding of Islam. As the centre became more established, numerous initiatives have been introduced to help empower the Muslim community and in particular the youth, from mentoring schemes through to helping new reverts into Islam. In 2006 the Cricklewood Muslim Youth Trust was established and in 2009 the shop lease was secured from the proprietor to help develop the centre further. We are now in the process of developing the centre to help cater for the needs of sisters. As the centre grows, we have ambitious plans to take the centre forward, both working more closely with the local Cricklewood community, as well as fundraising for a larger centre so we can truly become a valuable asset to the local neighbourhood.
