About us

In the early 1990s a small bookshop and Islamic Information Centre opened in Cricklewood. The centre was used to help promote a better understanding of Islam. As the centre became more established, numerous initiatives have been introduced to help empower the Muslim community and in particular the youth, from mentoring schemes through to helping new reverts into Islam. In 2006 the Cricklewood Muslim Youth Trust was established and in 2009 the shop lease was secured from the proprietor to help develop the centre further. We are now in the process of developing the centre to help cater for the needs of sisters. As the centre grows, we have ambitious plans to take the centre forward, both working more closely with the local Cricklewood community, as well as fundraising for a larger centre so we can truly become a valuable asset to the local neighbourhood. We ask for your support to help us achieve this. If you believe in what we are trying to achieve, we would welcome your suggestions and advice as well as your financial support. Please set up a standing order today for whatever you feel comfortable with. As little as £5 can make a big difference to our current and future plans.

Our Mission

By the Will of Allah, our mission is to serve the community by fostering an authentic understanding of Islam, free from extremism and misguided ideologies. We are dedicated to expanding our Masjid and its services to assist in the diverse needs of our community, including a place for our sisters. As we grow, we look to expand our place of prayer and bookstore in order to keep up with our growing community. We invite you to support us in this process.
